Interesting graphic on FB

So this ad popped up on my FB page. It is from a large regional hospital system in Northeast Ohio. While I'm not surprised an ad about IC showed up on my FB page, what did surprise me is the statistic they used. Over 25% of men! I've never seen an estimate that high, so I'm wondering if it is legitimate or somewhat inflated to drum up some business. I would also be curious to know how they define "loss of bladder control." Assuming it is correct, we are definitely not alone - even more of "us" out there than I would have guessed.

The statistics that I have seen over years from many studies don't seem to show that.

The WHO (World Health Organization) "The prevalence of urinary incontinence reported in population-based studies ranges from 9.9% to 36.1% " of the total population.

other studies I have read over the years seem to show up to 30% of women and 10-15% of men have symptoms of incontinence of some form...

one thing is incontinence is Highly UNDER-REPORTED so the numbers are likely higher but I doubt that 25% of Men is correct. it justs seems a bit high based on the reports and studies I have read.
