NBA game

Sat Dec 09, 2017 10:59 am

Once a year my wife and I try to make it to a NBA game to see the Thunder in person. I prefer watching it on TV, but my wife loves the excitement and being there so I make the sacrifice. In the past I would double up my stuff, which was uncomfortable until I had to change. Thanks to this forum, I have become more comfortable with this and basically said who cares and bought my small change bag with me knowing full well it would be searched. Granted I only bought one extra brief, but I felt that was all I would need for the hour and half the game might take.

I had opened the bag enough so security could see what was in there. He poked the search stick on both sides and than just squeezed my bag and said "enjoy the game" No questions nor did he pull out the contents. Granted I was prepared to ask to go somewhere more private if that started to happened.

It reinforced that they see this type of stuff and know to be discreet about it.

I have had similar experiences going to a concert, play, museum, etc. I carry a small leather "man bag" with one or two diapers in it. I have had both men and women search the bag, but not a single comment, and at any time was I asked to empty its contents. I, too, am at the point that if people find out I wear diapers I am becoming more comfortable explaining why. The only problem I have is sometimes forgetting to bring the bag with me. That's when I get a bit nervous.
