Irritated with Dr's this week

So still waiting for the VA to call and schedule my initial apt. last heard i was approved to be seen they were just needing some one to schedule with me. So in the mean time i went to the Dr. to see what this side stitch pain is that i have had for a month to makes sure its not anything dealing with my kidneys. and the first thing out of her mouth i should really be using a external catheter... So i said politely to her if she need of a lag bag system they did fall off when i was out walking or a external catheter that did pop off of me or pull hair and cause huge embarrassing wet spot then please let me know and i would try them again. BTW the side pain is a pulled muscle and this was not my normal family practice Dr.

I know your pain brother I go to the VA here in nashville the biggest headache I have ever dealt with would rather go back to Afghanistan for 2 yrs then deal with them ever again. But do what gotta. The urologist here not that great not because they don't care but because they change them out every 3-6 months so I never get to see the same one. I hope that is not the case for the va where u are though. Just keep head up let them know what U want and what treatment U would prefer and they tend to work with u. Right now I am just doing botox injections into the sphincter muscles to force them to stay open and wearing diapers 24/7 but they wanted to do unfeeling Cath and when I said no to that it went to a supra pubic cath and that was a hell no.

what do you mean if covered with va your years of service says you are covered it pisses me off to hear that are vets are having so much trouble with this so called va

LOL i have 4 years of the OJT of hurry up and wait i am not sure i calling the Va would speed anything up actually LOL. i did get my beautiful bathroom reading material welcoming to the Va healthcare system today in the mail.
