I've come out with this with a lot of people online and just wanted to share this with everyone.
The cause of my incontinence was a bacterial infection when I was small which kind of went out of control. I was rushed into a hospital after a what seemed like a fever became way worse than a normal fever and the infection basically tried to take over my body. My body went into sepsis and organs started shutting down. Eventually the blood flow to my extremities mainly my legs got lower and eventually the doctors had to amputate both my legs above the knee to save me by trying to keep good blood flow to my organs. Anyway this is just a story for me cause I don't remember much of that time. When I went into sepsis a lot of my nerves and muscles in my "lower" region were damaged and eventually just not really there anymore so that's how I became incontinent.
I fully recovered from the infection and after a few years of physiotherapy I was able to walk on prosthetics. It's pretty limited in the sense stairs and inclines are hard to do, and slow and uneven surfaces are much harder. But I can get around okay. Unfortunately because I'm an above knee amputee the prosthetics aren't that capable since the knee joint only bends for the momentum of walking so going up stairs or just trying to bend the knee voluntarily is not possible. A good example is trying to walk up the stairs without bending your joints.... Yeah it's hard. Anyway just wanted to share this with everyone. Hope everyone is doing okay.

Mia,
Your incontinence and disabilities put mine in perspective. I walk like a drunk, but I do walk. I hope that you will continue to find useful advice and support here, because you are a valuable asset. Thank you for being here for the rest of us.
