Trying out abena

So im giving abena a go around. Got 2 samples and liked them/had no problems. Ive had them before but don't know why I stopped using them. I think it's because of the stripes but these days I don't care

I'm currently fighting the medical establishment to pay for my diapers and am unfortunately losing

the samples i got worked out really well. i cant wait to get the 2 cases on tuesday.
i have one bag of confidry left and im hoping they will last til i get the abena order.

just thought id check in.

I've been using the Abena L4's as my evening and night time diaper and like them a lot. Molicare super plus is my daytime diaper. It is much thinner, hides well, is very comfortable, and is easier to move around in.

I use their original plastic backed ones. Who knows how much longer they'll continue making them. they're by far my favorite diaper. They just fit me perfectly and rarely leak, even over night and I wet every single night multiple times. Their "premium" cloth style line is total trash in my opinion.

If they do ultimately end up scrapping their plastic offerings, at least there is nothshore supreme to fall back on. While I like them, I prefer the abenas as they seem to offer a but more full coverage especially in the back. I also like that they're softer as the Northshores are very compacted.

ive been wearing abenas since tuesday and i gotta say they are my go to from now on.
no rips, no leaks, fits great. im satisfied.

hey mike next time you try the northshore open the bag up and give them a chance to relax for lack of better words and they will fluff up a bit this is what i do when my shipment comes in will open all bags and take one out of all the bags and gives them room to relax and fluff up

I think it was some where on here, I learned about taking them out of the bag. Like you said it allows them to fluff out a little bit from being what seems to be vacuum packed. When I get my case, I fold my boosters with them and place them in my drawers and a rubber maid tub.

Speaking of folding. Before you put a diaper on, fold it length wise. This will remove the two perpendicular folds (from packaging) which tend to increase a chance for leaks, and this also creates a channel running down the middle of the diaper that will help with containment and wicking. This really help regardless of which brand you use.

^yup, this is huge. Once I learned this, I had a noticeable decrease in leaks.
