Disgruntlement

I finally got my 3 month followup with my new urologist. 4 months after my last visit. Grrr.

We're back to OAB. I asked about my enlarged prostate he was so concerned about after the cytoscopy done on my last vist: On a scale of Meh to OMFG, how bad is it really for someone my age? The answer came back much much closer to the "meh" end of the scale. Grrrr.

He did actually spend some time discussing timelines, symptoms, changes over time which got him some points. He also asked about lower back pain/injury (none) and talked about referred pain as a possibility for the urgency and frequency, and referred me to a physical therapist for abdominal floor work (if that just means more Kegels, I don't hold much hope), and I left with a shiny new prescription for Myrbetriq which I had to argue with my insurance company over (again). I finally got it. We'll see how that goes.

good luck with Myrbetriq. i kept hearing how much of a miracle drug and got people out of diapers. nope. not me. but im a "complicated case" so says the incompetent doctor.

I've heard "complicated case" from 13 incompetent doctors. I've also taken myrbetriq. It did nothing for me. I'm way happier in diapers than taking pills. I hate pills.

Yeah, same for me too. Complicated case, myrbetriq didn't work, etc, etc.
