i just got my shipment from the medical supply store. they in fact did get my tranquility atns covered and they also sent out several more boxes.
wipes, bed pads, gloves, and 2 boxes of the diapers themselves.
i was just expecting the tranqulitys so the extra stuff was a HUGE surprise. its like incontinence christmas! hahaha
anyway im hoping the tranquilitys do the job. i still have 3 bags of confidrys to fall back on.

now you all know where i live. dont come stalk me. hahaha
so im trying out the atns at home today. its going to rain here so i cant go out (i cant get my boot wet) so i figured its a good time to try them out.
the first one i tried to put on ripped. kinda frustrating, but i was careful with the second one and it was ok. they seem pretty thin, so i have a feeling they will only be good for one wetting. im used to the confidry so i know that they arent going to be as good. but they were free so i cant really complain. im going to use these for around the house primarily and the confidrys for when im out.
so we shall see.

justj,
The Tranquility ATN diaper has been tested at 33 ounces maximum absorbency in size Large. As all diapers leak well before their maximum absorbency is reached, your estimate that they may be good for only one wetting probably is correct. It is a big change from a ConfiDry 24/7 to the Tranquility ATN.

i liked the tranquility other than the pinkish color made me feel like i was wearing something for girls

I use the Tranquility brand of pull ups as well. Day and overnight versions work well for me. I think they are in the top three of pull ups if you can use them.

the ones i got were white, not pink
and i dont think pullups would be enough for me. im a pretty heavy wetter.
also does anyone have any tips on what to tell nosey neighbors when ups brings 7 boxes to your door? i just said it was medical stuff but....

I live in the country, they already know. Fact they will protect my shipment so they don't get wet or snowed on.

Just for the record, I've had very good luck with the ATNs except for the problem I mentioned earlier. A single voiding, even if it is a large one hasn't been an issue. A second episode isn't something I think about... A third would be another thing. To be fair, most of my voids are small to medium but, even on my worst days I don't go into 'I have to change soon' mode after one wetting.
