I'm not positive, but I have an idea as to what has dragged us down in the last few days, i.e., no real new members, and activity has been on the stagnant side. I hope it's just vaycay time (and Fathers' Day), and that the recent subject matter, together with the covert kibbitsing via pm hasn't adversely affected the reputation of the forum and discouraged folks from contributing to our usual lively exchange. Let's keep the forum real, and happy Fathers' Day to all the Dads out there.
And Happy Birthday to Haze!!!

I wouldn't let a few day dictate what will happen to this site or it's community. I for one can say it's just chance I'm on here right now. Not just because of a fathers day vacations, but just because it's the weekend in general.

What do you mean by "no real new members". I am a new member.......

In the last few days since the superhero stuff. Two new people joined after that started, but the 2nd one was someone trying to advertise a pelvic rehab clinic. They're gone now, cuz peddling isn't allowed here. So, no real new members for a week. It's usually busier than that.

Its probably due to the warmer weather, people are out and about and are having better dryer days so our inconstance issues are not bugging us as much.
traffic and new users will pick up as the temp falls and our bladers remind us once again why we need protection or meds to deal with our incontinent issues.

I've been a member of this forum for a few DAYS now, (2008), and its been the same ever year during the summer season. Not sure why, but the number of posts always seems to drops off this time of year UNLESS someone makes some type of controversial post that gets everyone blood pressure up. If anyone dares go ahead and make such a post and you will see what I mean.

Well, it IS summer ROAD TRIP time and lots of us get out & about, off and away! Incontinence doesn't seem to prevent that,
based on my experiences here and from my own personal experiences all these years, too.
As to that 'lost vibe'...hmmm, maybe so --- and that's only because I no longer get off and away on my BIG VIBE machine,
the HARLEY. Oh well, that accounted for a LOT of road trips in past years and I've now phased into a less exciting, but
still rewarding mode of travel: the automobile. Ahhhhh...comforts, and lots more room for 'supplies'.
But good old summer diverts us and we are outside more, if only to do yard work and to putz about on projects that have
accumulated from other times of the year. It's also a time to see family or to host them; a time for reunions with old
friends and class-mates, too. Organized club and church picnics happen more often and a number of sports events to see
our favorite team or to watch the family youth activity in organized events. That's the summer many of us know.
Also, there still seems to be an ever-increasing array of other social media that treats this subject, but for more targeted groups.
So many are youth-oriented and communication there is via hand-held & text-speak. A place such as this, to them, would
just be dismissed as TMTR. (too much to read) They want photos & selfies and other short attention spam items presented
often, instantly and in very cryptic thoughts of one to five words. Ever mindful of TMTR, of course. It's their way.
Due to the age of many (not all) of us here, over 30, we tend to be set aside if not dismissed as communication partners
within the self-constructed world of the millennial. They find their own support from their own kind and from those who
speak their lingo.
Any wonder there is a 'summer lag' in the vibe ?
John.

I think the nicer weather, and summer activities have taken many offline and outside, thus the slowdown, happens every year... sometimes, it just gets slow for no real reason! Puffy
