Why are one of the small icons changing size?

So I was in a different folder, looking at the list of postings and noticed that the small icon on the "Are there any breathable diapers that don't suck??!" and that starts all the posts was changing in size? Large to small, large to small, .......... I didn't see any others doing this. Just wondering why?

I'm not a computer geek, but I believe the answer to your question is the small icon did not do something known as "populate", or open fully. Maybe one of the computer geek's will chime in and tell us the correct answer. Just my thoughts.
