diapers 24/7

Wed Mar 09, 2016 5:20 am

hi I ben incontinent for over 20yrs. now and ben in diapers 24/7. I find it harder to find a good diaper with plastic backing, there are more cloth-like diapers out there then plastic diapers. I have try cloth-like diapers and they leak onto clothing. as for plastic backing diapers they didn't leak on to my clothing.

Hi mrjw45

I also wear 24/7 and Wear Molicare Soft Super Plus to prevent leaks I also wear compression breifs and a cover on top I currently wear Molicare Spartan and they look normal outside with a waterproof inner I have not had a problem so far. I also add in a doubler for extra absorbency or terry briefs if I need to. I find the cloth-like a blessing in hot weather.

I hope this is of some use.

Have you tried dry 24/7's they are my daily diaper of choice, I have tried them inspire + and found it to be a great diaper for fast wicking but the sizing is no good for me.

I agree with you on the cloth backed diapers not being that great

That's because of the supply and demand problems from a majority of people who don't realize the more expensive diapers, and plastic diapers, work so much better. They just look for the cheapest ones they can find and think it will work just as good. Obviously they don't though, but that still makes it so the good diapers don't sell as much and over time are stocked less and less.

If you want decent diapers you have to find a medical supply store near you, or order them online. Xpmedical.com is a good and reputable site that sells a bunch of different diapers. They also have discrete and free shipping. There is also northshore.com too.

I personally like the Confidry24/7 as they are quite superior in performance.

I will echo ConfiDry 24/7 and XP Medical as my preferred vendor.

I agree, I think Nothshore diapers are one of the best plastic backed diapers on the market. Abena M4, is also very good and so is the Confidry 24/7. Any one of these products will work great, but none of them are cheap. Quality never does come cheap, but if someone use 2, or more of the cheap cloth backed diapers the cost is probably about the same as using one quality diaper. I don't think buy "cheap" really saves anyone any money in the long run if they are using more cheap diapers compared to fewer "quality" diapers.

Just my thoughts.

I am trying diapers from secure personal care. they are called x-plus diapers , I have try diapers from xp medical.

That isn't a bad choice, and for some it's probably equal to an Abena x-plus. Not bad, but also not the best out there. And if you can find a decent (but not great) diaper out there that will work for 6+ hours for you, then it's definitely worth sticking with.

When I sometimes wear I found the ID super PE really good but that's in the uk. You must order the PE ones because they are the plastic backed type.
