Just found this forum.
I am a US Army veteran trying to help spread awareness about disabilities and more specifically, incontinence. I have service connected injuries that lead to disabilities.
You can check out my blog www.theincontinentveteran.com.
Always here to help and chat.
I am a full time student working towards my masters in education. I am a physical education major with minors in coaching, health and sports management and double majors in history, finance and political science.
I deal with incontinence everyday and assist in running a couple support groups in my area.

archerstaley,
Welcome. I look forward to reading your expertise here. We have several veterans here, all with wisdom to share.

Hi, I'm also a veteran (usmc), that became incontinent while I was still enlisted. You're definitely not alone in this. Feel free to message me any time if you ever want to "compare notes".

archerstaley, welcome to the group. Checked out your blog and you definitely are taking life by the horns. Hopefully, you can get a lot of the things at the college straighten out. Read the one about what you are doing with the VA and that is great. As a fellow Vet (Navy), I thank you for this. The type of diapers the VA have to offer seem to be a big compliant here. It took me forever to find one that would work for my incontinence, but still use a booster in it to handle the flood. Plus, they like all other doctors just want to throw pills at the problem. When you get a chance I would recommend reading the primer Schoppy put a lot of great information in there.
@ Wetters thanks for the support.
