That what this
article quotes the Urology Care Foundation saying. It's still not something to wish for anybody, but it is eaier to deal with when you know how common this is.

In the last few days I have seen mentioned, several news reports online, that the sales of adult incontinence garments in the U.S. could equal those of baby diapers in a decade.

All the doctors I see except my family doctor has some kind of bladder issues, I guess that's why they are so helpful. You would be surprised on how many people that do and there standing right next to you.

The 1 in 3 sounds awfully high to me. Maybe they're taking into account the extremely infirm elderly. Possibly adding some very young children that haven't toilet trained by a set age. There's also the young that have developmental problems that resolve later on by themselves. As far as adults in the mainstream population, none that I have revealed my problem to have any issues themselves.
Also there's that old saying; No matter how you wiggle or how you dance the last few drops end up in your pants..... Do the pros consider that icontinence? If so, probably half the male population is incontinent ...LOL.....
Needless to say though, There's a heck of a bunch of us. Considering the number of stores that carry disposable products there's either a crying need to fill shelf space or there's a bunch of us out there leaking.....

Found this article on Fox News the other day.
http://www.foxnews.com/health/2016/01/29/kate-winslet-opens-up-about-having-incontinence.html More people are opening up about it. Which could help explain the numbers.
Ted, love your comment about the wiggling. Reminded me of a saying I heard a long time ago. If you shake it more than twice, than your playing with it. Who thought of that one, the world will never know.

In the closet? What closet? No stigma can long survive a conflict with profit.

If incontinence was seen as more normal, then fewer would fight it so much and resort to managing as we have.
