Hey All, I was just wondering. What are the ages of the folks here? The stereotype of the incontinent person is OLD, feeble, serious health issues and in poor mental health nearing or suffering from dementia. While I am going on 62, I don't really see myself as old. Neither do the other stereotypes apply to me. OK, maybe the old?........
Anyways as I try to wrap my head around the incon thing, this is a question that keeps popping up in my head as I read about all our issues. I find myself wondering if certain age groups have specific types of incontinence. With men anyways, the whole prostate issue seems to be the primary cause of trouble and that implies. a gradual increase of incontinence with age. But that being said how old are you? Ted (61yrs)

I'm 74. However, because my incontinence is caused by a genetic disease, in a sense I was born with it. I have had difficulty with bladder management for at least the last 60 years.

I'm 39 now, but have been incontinent since I was 18 as the result of a bad car wreck.
