Hello all,
My latest J and B shipment arrived, which leaves me with a bit of a conundrum. You see, I don't always use the amount of attends i get in a given month (which is 5 bags), so now i have 4 bags on the storage room shelf, an eniter unopend case, plus another 5 bags that just came. Id beter start using hte attends before i run out of room to put them eh? The thing is, honestly, I don't know if i can trust them by themselves in public. Now if i wear a booster id go out in public. Well, it seems that pretty soon, unless i decide to be a recluse, only going in public when i work, then i will have to start weraing the boosted attends, because i only have 8 Tena ultra left, and cant spend any more on diapers this month. . But, I digress from the title of this post. I usually get my supplies in one big box. But this month, they sent me another small box. Im like huh, what is that? I opoen the box, and what do i find except Prevail per fit PULLUPS in size LARGE. I did not ever request pullups, let alone pullups in size large. They are absolutely useless to me.
About the attends.. I can't put my order on hold, because then they will close my account. Maybe i should just use the attends so i can spend the money i would have spent on Tena Ultra on cloth diapers, and get a suppply built up, and use those around the house instead of the attends and end the monthy overstock. Of course, I would still need disposables wehn the diapers are being washed. Ill figure out something to do with these diapers. Quite frankly, I avoid using the Attends if i can. But now, it appears I will have to use them. Maybe they wont be that bad with a booster, especially one like tranquility.
Has anyone used attends 8? What success or failure have you had in public? I can tell you that I would NOT trust them at work. Some days even when i get to the toilet like to day i have large releases of urine. Granted, if i could pee in the toilet I would have, but i was busy taking care of preschoolers, and they are a busy group. No time to use the bathroom. Yes there were adults in the room, but isnt it more convenient in some respects to just use the toilet that you have taped to your rear end instead of holding it all day waiting for that spasm to occur that causes an episode? Sometimes its better to just let go. Just letting go requires a diaper like Abena.
The good news is that my morning deluges are effectivley contained by the seni diapers. Although I did not orgionally buy them for that, they seem useful in that regard. Cloth also appears to be effective in that regard. I look forward to trying the contour diapers when they come available. It seems that the AIO diapers are available now..but unfortunatle,y i have spent what I can spend this month on diapers.
Peace out!
Rob

You might consider contributing the Attends diapers that you are not using to a "diaper bank" that provides diapers for people who can't afford them.

You could slit the back and double up for public.

Funny thing is, I only use pullups for around the house, when know can change at any time. Mainly as a way to kind of have a break from the regular diapers.
Anyway, I actually had seen those in an ad, and was wanting to try a sample, yet never could find one. If try them, please let me know how they are.

I agree, if don't plan on using all those Attends, giving them to someone that needs them, or the local diaper bank, would be a great idea.

I never used those ones of theirs, are they plastic backed? I sometimes use the Attends with waistband, though, and I do know what you mean about not trusting Attends for going out.

MSU, is right, I have taken them and cut them. They work great as a large booster and great for night time double up. Before I found the right combination of coverage, I always doubled up when I traveled. But if you have to many help other that cant afford protection.
