"Outed" by UPS...

Maybe not "outed". But at least one of my neighbors now knows I have incontinence issues. Seems that UPS delivered 2 packages to me today and left them on my "front porch". One from Tena since they are having a sale (Code GIVETHANKS15) and one from a medical supply place. Both boxes contained incontinence pads. It seems that these did not get left on my porch, so both boxes had to be left on someone else's porch. *sigh* Oh well. I guess I will be making a few phone calls tomorrow to have these replaced. There are worse things...

There are a few of us that have had this happen. Mine was delivered 2 doors down. At first, I thought they were stolen, as UPS had sent me a text saying they are been delivered. When I arrived home, there were no boxes. This was back when I was wearing Real Fit from Depends and the box said exactly what was inside. My neighbor who was out of town called the next day and told me their teenage niece (who was house sitting) had packages for me. I quickly went over and got them. Nothing was every said about it, and they have since moved. You can read my discussion on it in the link below. Hopefully, you can get reimbursed for them.

Ouch, that is rough! Glad they have moved on, if for no other reason than your peace of mind!

It did offer some peace of mind. I don't know if you read the complete tread, but at the time he was a LT in the Navy and worked in the other building to mine. And yes we did have to interact with each other at work. I just had to get over it and keep moving.

Back when my incoitiennce presented as a ligh dribble (man i miss those days.. no wondering whether my proteciton would hold after several floods..but i digress), I ordered some Attends guards from HDIS. along with attends washcloths.. and then they send thiem to my grandma's house.. who lives up the road from me. Their response was well the boxes are discreet.. but honestly, my grandma has probably seen HDIS's ads, and knows what the intials stand for. Yeah, I no longer use HDIS but not because of that, its because their prices are outrageous.

The discreet doesn't matter once someone else was able to open the box...

Ouch, this isn't even supposed to happen with UPS or FEDEX anymore either! With some neighbors this could mean those packages are effectively given away for good and you will never see that shipment. At the least, they are supposed to refuse delivery and leave a note for you to come pick them up or schedule are re-delivery time.
