Not sure what to try next

Tue Aug 25, 2015 5:05 am

Currently wearing molicare mobile large as I am 122cm waist with Tena stretch pants over them put would prefer something more snugger fit and not sure what to try next as it seems pull up types don't fit tightly from what I have seen as I have tried a few brands of what I can get here in Australia.

Thing is the non tight fit really irritates me as well as the bunching I guess because of my aspergers syndrome.

Any suggestions

Thank you

Hello Tom,

I am not knowledgeable of which products are available "down under."

Molicare Mobile is a disposable pullup. If you need a snugger fit you might try using tabbed (taped) diapers. That way you can adjust for the fit you prefer.

Good luck.

I agree with John, pull ups don't work for me. I use tape style brief only to get the fit I'm looking for. I also wear a micro fiber boxers over the top to aid in concealing my diaper and also a snugger fit.

Mlhr makes a good point. Sometimes you can be between diaper sizes and it can be difficult to get that perfect snug fit. :( In such instances, wearing something stretchy over the pullup or diaper will help to keep it snugly against the body. I like wearing onsies or sports compression pants, like UnderArmour. If you use onesies, the torso-length fit is critical so that the onesie supports the weight of the sagging diaper. However, if you really want a snug feel, the very stretchy sports compression pants really do the trick.

I also would note that getting a "snug" fit on a pull-up is limited by the elastic built into the mesh of the diaper. If a tabbed (taped) diaper, the breathables with a cloth-like shell will stretch and defeat that initial snug fit. Plastic shell diapers stretch much, much less. :D

Tom,

If this promises to be a long-term situation, you might consider investing in a small inventory of cotton washables and polyurethane pants. Washables can involve a sizable upfront investment and a learning curve using them, so starting out small and cheap is wise. Good luck, and keep us informed.
