One of the advertising supplements in today's paper included a full-page advertisement for Butterfly Body Liners, which were said to protect against bowel leakage. I'm continually looking for new products, devices, exercises, etc., that might work. The illustrations, if accurate, do not give me any confidence; however, I could be wrong. If anybody here has tried them, report on your experience. Today has been one of those days when diarrhea has made life exasperating; those butterfly liners, if they work as advertised, might be helpful.

Patrick,
I have not tried these. I have tried a similar product and found that it was suitable only for the smallest amounts of leakage - not even what I think of as fecal incontinence.
If you try them, give us your opinion.

I've used them because of the challenge of wiping fully clean with hemmorhoids. Will only hold small amount (think dribble) and will have trouble staying in place if any creams or ointments are nearby.
