i have been using Abena M4 and M2 diapers for the last little while, when I put the diaper on I find some times the side flaps leave a small gap if I rearrange the diaper I get an overlap do a few inch's on either side. My hips are 38" and am with in the 28" to 44" for the mediums and I go have no leak issues when standing or sitting just when sleeping. Fortunately they are minor leaks and my pad catches the leak. Should I be using the large version that starts at sizes 39" to 60" for my night time diaper

Rob,
When you are just in-between diaper sizes, it usually is better to try the next larger size. If you can, just order a sample, to be sure.

Thanks John
I will pickup a few larger size ones tomorrow and give them a try for my night time diaper

I picked up a bag of Abena L4's plastic backed version and they are a lot bigger then the mediums

But did not leak onto my pad, the first night I had a slight leak but it got caught by my underwear I wear over the diaper to help keep it in place, night 2 I had no leaks (Taped properly this time) so the L4's are now my night time diaper and the M4's will be my day time ones. I haven't had a leak Juring the day so the mediums are ok for sitting and standing just not sleeping.
I still want to try not to make it look like I am wearing but I tried the Large and you can really see the bulge in my pants.
Thanks again John for recommending I try a larger diaper.
