Getting Diapers From The Veterans Affairs (VA)

Wed Apr 09, 2014 1:15 pm

If anyone is receiving poor quality incon products to include diapers from the VA, and would like to receive high quality products, I can help. I can advise you how to obtain high quality diapers, pads, pullups, etc, from the VA free of charge. You don NOT need to have a service related injury in order to receive diapers from the VA, but you MUST have a VA doc's prescription Let me know if I can help.

I posted something on the other website about this and I forgot who posted this link but it sure has helped. The first time I asked the VA doc for a protection all he could say was "you want diapers, I will give you diapers" in a what seem to be a demeaning voice. What a humiliating experience, all I wanted to do was to get out of that office. As if this condition wasn't embarrassing enough. Anyway he prescribed them and in my opinion was the worst kind to wear. They made noise all the time. Luckily, I have not seen this doctor again and I am not sure how I will act now that I know more about my condition. Anyway, I recently check the below site and they now carry a type of protection I don't mind wearing. Now if I can just have them ship them with the words taped over. Granted the UPS person probably knows what they are just by the manufacturer on the box, but my neighbors don't need to see the box. I make it a point to be home when I know the packages are being delivered.

Johnstone, all week I've been meaning to thank you for your post here. I'm not a veteran but I thought it was very considerate of you to offer your help in getting people better protection. Batman is right that incontinence is hard enough without having to deal with demeaning doctors and inferior diapers. Your offer was kind and, I'm sure, very helpful to those who can take advantage.
