Saw the urologist for the 1st time today he was quick 15mins in and out kind of as I had xrays of back and bladder ultrasound he said he thinks its not the bladder but because of back injury (http://www.incontinentsupport.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=578&highlight=) he said something about bladder nerves being around the area of injury was put on a waiting list for a cystoscopy which he thinks will show nothing wrong.

Stupid me I froze up I forgot to tell him about the wetting accidents as well as I'm restricting my fluid intake.

I'm scared if it is my back will I have to wear the pull up underwear for the rest of my life as Both my GP and I have ruled out surgery for my back as it tends to cause more problems then its worth.

Hello Tom23

I have nerve damage in my lower spine from being ran over by a car.
The damage is in my L3-S1 region.
I have no control over my bladder and also have lost some control of my bowels.
When I have the sensation that I need to go poop, its almost too late.
My bladder will fill up a little then will just let go on its own. I have no sensation that I need to go pee.
Over the years my bladder has shrunk to a smaller size. :(

I have gone through a few cystoscopes and they have each shown different things that have popped up over the years. One test that I had done DID show the nerve damage. I forget what its called but they put electrodes in the groin where a verve is located. Then they fill up your bladder with a cath and monitor the nerve for any signals coming from the bladder.
They did the test 2 times in different hospitals, I failed both tests.

When they did my test they overfilled my bladder and I still didn't have any sensation that I had to go pee.
I wear diapers 24/7 now. I do prefer the cloth diapers over the disposables for a multiple of reasons that I wont go into here.

It sounds like (and Im hoping that it is) your problem isn't as bad as mine so you probably wont have to go the level of protection that I need.

Whatever the outcome of your tests, keep your chin up as you have many friends on this site cheering you on. :)
