We had an exciting trip and everything went fine. Turned out that I shorted myself a couple diapers but I got through the last 3 nights by setting an alarm midway through the night and using the bathroom. Pharmacies in France are poorly supplied with small size adult diapers or anything with tapes in general. I visited 2 Monoprix stores (like a higher-quality Walmart/Target) and one had taped diapers somewhat my size (a bit big). I didn't buy because it was a pack of 20, I only needed 2, and didn't have room in the suitcase to bring home the rest. The package of 20 was only 13 euro so I'm sure they weren't the most absorbent. Men's guards are available in both pharmacies and Monoprix.
In short, if going to France then bring your own incontinence supplies if you use taped diapers or you need size small of any product. Another alternative is to order online and have it delivered to your hotel.
Final note: finding bathrooms are a pain in France. You have 3 choices which are to buy something in a restaurant and use their bathroom, use a Metro station bathroom for a fee (.80 euro), or you'll see on a few street corners portable toilets. They are cleaned regularly but have no toilet seats and for us were cold and wet. My wife wouldn't use them.
