And the results are "inconclusive". I am going to be happy about this because nothing serious was found wrong. And I am glad that is over. Uncomfortable does not even start to go there...

I agree. Although it didn't actually hurt, it was very uncomfortable. And I leaked like a garden hose for the rest of the day and night.

Twice? So it is possible that I will be threatened with this again? The first part was not so bad. But the little camera. *shudder*

Yeah, that is about it, liked it the first time so much I went back for seconds... NOT! First time was when I told my doc about my "little secret", so off to see the Uro I went. Second time was for some after void bleeding, turned out to be a rather nasty prostate infection, still deal with prostatitus to this day, not a good time, just makes the urge problems all the worse when it gets bad... tried the anti-biotics, then the herbal, have had no luck getting it to completely go away, such is life I guess, I am "pilled out" at this point! Definitely not fun. Last time, it was a young lady that did all the work and the Dr was looking at the TV. I felt sorry for that lady. She was probably in her 20s and most urologists see all these old men that have prostate issues and need to get "uro"d. I too have had it done at least twice. The last time, I got the"uro" and went to a gastrologist and he went from the top down and the bottom up. I've still got 20 ft in the middle that haven't been videod but I guess they can do that too now. You swallow the camera. It is interesting watching all the videos. You get to see things you don't normally see but none of those procedures is something that I enjoy repeating often. I guess now days most surgeries are done with a 3 hole punch. One hole for the camera, one hole for the scalpel and one hole for the forceps. My wife had her gallbladder removed that way, out patient surgery, Other than the fact that you are normally under general anesthesia, the TV pictures would probably be interesting too. I look at it like it is part of life and you get some good things and some bad things. I sure can think of worse things (root canal) but there can't be many.

I had a Urodynamic test done last fall because I was having to go every 1/2 hour. I had to drink 2 bottles of water before I left. At the office I removed my lower garments. She wired me up and then asked me to pee. She left the room. I got out a little. She came in and cathed me and took out 750. Then the test started. She put in a bag and a half. I started leaking then pressure was building up in my bladder. She then stopped the test. She again asked me to pee. I got out about 100, she took out 1100 out of me. So she told me to get dressed and go to the waiting room. I was called in to see my Urologist and it was decided that I needed a Foley catheter. I am in my 4th month and doing well with it!
If you are going a lot in a short time I would see a Urologist and get checked out!
