It's sample test Monday again, with me trying a TENA ProSkin Flex Maxi. I didn't think I would like this diaper given it's open sides and belt design. But having given it a try, I kind of liked this one.
The belt is velcro allowing you to re-attach the tapes as much as needed, especially if you use the toilet. They kindly provided instructions on the front of the diaper, in case you didn't know what you were getting into

The open sides made it more comfortable and airy. The only downside is that you'll want to wear a plastic pant to lock the smell inside.
The cloth based diaper absorbed well (two coffees+ worth) in a morning office (at home) test with no leaks (4.5 hours). It seemed comfortable. My cost Cdn is $1.31 each (healthwick.ca), which I thought was pretty good for a diaper with velcro attachments. This diaper does have leak guards unlike the TENA Super Brief that I tested in the afternoon.
I must say that these samples really help us figure out what works best. The only problem is that I may have trouble choosing later.
