Hey guys I just got three new Cloth Pull ups off Ebay I need to wash them a few times yet but they look rather well made they are 5 layer through the crotch area about 1/2 way up front and back then they go to two layer the rest of the way front and back the sides are only single layer. They are kind of a tan color :?: The elastic waist bands are about 3/4 of an inch wide along with the leg bands. I got all three for less then $50.00 with the shipping. They came individually sealed in plastic but with no tags? I'll let you know how they work once I've washed them a few times.

Sandy,
That description you gave sounds like the pull-up diaper that AC medical sells. I bought 3 pairs about a year ago. Still going strong. They are not a night time diaper, but they suit me well during the daytime. I'll usually pin in a baby diaper insert to make them more absorbant. ........Paul Martin

I kept meaning to update you all on these three new pull ups I bought. Paul was right they are from AC Medical I found a small tag on the inside.

For me I found they were lacking by themselves for my needs But with two boosters added front to back they seem to work ok. By themselves they seem to do alright if your just leaking into them here and there but if you flood look out! But when I added two cloth Birdseye boosters the seem to work ok. But with the lack of side protection I'd be reluctant to use these for night time Even tho I'm a Tummy Sleeper or Back sleeper. If your a side sleeper I think you would have problems.

Sandy,
You're right about the added booster diaper to make them work. I use those during the day time, but I have to add the booster. If not I'll be changing too often.
I've bought some pull-up diapers from ADC. The have a loose interior panel that you can slide a booster in between. They are more absorbant than the AC Medical brand, but cost a little more. They are very well made. With the loose panel inside, they dry a lot faster. .....Paul Martin

Got some more cloth diapers the other day again. :D I got these from "I.offer" They look like bikini bottoms but have velcro on the sides up hi on the hip. The sides where they come together is about an inch and a 1/2 wide. The back side of the brief fits my bottom rather well. They seem to be rather well thought out the crotch area towards the front front narrows out to about 3 and a 1/2 inches then widens out again as it comes up the front They seem to be at least a five layer maybe more diaper. The padding is across most of the diaper up to were the Velcro is not just down the middle. The Velcro is very strong and appears to be sow en on very well on at least to layers of cloth. The outside is a White cotton face with a off white flannel inside. So far in the time I've been wearing these I've been rather happy with them. they fit me well and seem to have good wicking abilities. I was a little concerned about the narrow crotch during a flood but had two floods yesterday while wearing these during the afternoon. Both times they handled it with no leaks from the plastic pants. Sorry I can't tell you who made them I contacted the seller and they said they got them from a drug store that went out of business a few years ago. They came sealed in clear plastic with no tags other then a size sticker on the package?

Sandy,
Sounds like you got a pretty good mystery diaper. The home made diapers I had made for myself are working very well. They fit me just right and have great wicking. Yoy have a pretty wide variety of different cloth diapers now, sounds like. ......Paul Martin

Yep I'm not hurting for cloth anymore. I really don't need anymore but I just can't help buying them when it's a steal of a deal.

Same with disposables Right now I'm sitting on two cases of Molicare Supers 1/2 case of the Super plus and a case of the Classic Molicares I also have a 1/2 a case of the waist band Attends  Which Jane has been using during the day while she's here  I also have a case or so of the Abri Form Super X Plus. Not to mention several loose bags of the garden variety stuff. :? Then there must be at least one case of the Tranquility full contour boosters. And :?: :?:

I really need to take a break from Ebay or just buying in general  But then you hate to pass off a good deal. Even know I have this many diapers on hand from time to time you do go through dead spots and you may not find any deals for a time. So it doesn't hurt to have a stock pile.

Also I do supply Jane a fair amount and also my young friend gets most of her diapers from me as well.

Sandy,
I'm sorta in the same boat as you are, except my problem is cloth diapers and plastic pants. I usually stick with my disposable diapers from HDIS, but when I see a good deal on cloth, I'll grab it.

One company I've bought from is always e-mailing me specials. I have enough cloth diapers and plastic pants to last for probably 5 years before I wear them out!

I don't spend much time, if any, looking on E-Bay. I never got into the habit. Jane and your younger friend are lucky you're so thrifty! ..............Paul Martin

Sorry for perhaps hijacking a thread, but I seem to be unable to post a new topic.

Does anyone know if Loving Comfort is still open for business? Several attempts to get ahold of them over the last few months have been met with no replies.
