Disposables or cloth diapers? And why?

Hey, Pete,
Between you and Paul, you guys may be changing my mind about not wanting to caught dead in print plastic pants. I do like my colors and use the colorful plastic pants to help hide a diaper when wearing shorts, but with you guys talking about the print pants being softer, more comfortable, you have my attention.
I sure wish someone would make print plastic pants with prints such as found on men's boxers....man, I'd be a happy camper if that ever happened....but we can only dream!
In the warm weather, often my "shorts of choice" are men's boxers in some wild print, worn over my cloth diapers and plastic pants.

That sounds like a plan to me...let's bug our suppliers and see if we can get some John Deere or Harley-Davidson prints going!

Vvpete,
What a fantastic ideal! I wonder how many people it would take for us to get the bug in the ear of those fashion designers? .......Paul Martin

Hi All
I see we have some new names GREAT! It's been so nuts around here (Tax Time/inventory) I have not had time to post or do much else. Anyway I wanted to let paul and joe know I ordered some velcro briefs from Dry life over in the UK. They aren't cheap when you order them direct. I paid as much for one from Dry Life as I did for 3 off Ebay ouch!

I'll let you know when I get them...........Sandy

Hey Sandy!
I was wondering where you went! I was afraid something happened to you. Good to see you posting again. I've been using my velcro cloth diapers more lately. Their very convienent to change with out pulling my pants off when I use those cloth pull-ups. Keep us advised how those new ones work. .........................Paul Martin

Hi Pete and Paul M.
You guys are doing a number on me...making me think about print plastic pants! You may be responsible for this very conservative individual trying out print plastic pants!

Hey Joe loosen up it's fun. I'm like you as far as being conservative. Not to long ago I wouldn't have been caught in lace and ruffle plastic pants

But Hey it's fun

. Besides with a Lacey top my husband won't leave me a lone

Maybe your wife would like to see some prints or stripes or whatever

"Not to long ago I wouldn't have been caught in lace and ruffle plastic pants"
I'm still there. But I've found that although I've got a lot of different colors of plastic pants I tend to prefer red, pink, or purple; and translucent.

Hey vvpete!
Being a male, I wouldn't be caught in lace or ruffles either. But it would be boring having only one color plastic pants in my drawer. I do have my special colors too. My wife has told me she doesn't mind the palin-old white, but I like my lemon yellow and powder blue. I don't really like any wild colors, but if someone likes them, good for them!
Thanks for your post, vvpete .........Paul Martin

I have several plastic pants in many different colors, it help to keep them in a rotation. It really helps to keep them from wearing out to fast. I have found printed and colored pants last longer. When I wear one over and over it seems to wear out too fast, and good ones are expensive, I have found a way to make repairs on pants that have tears or holes in them. It's a product I found in the camping section of walmart. KLEAR K TAPE by KENYON
3"x18" It is a little pricey but I have fixed a couple of older pairs that had pinhole to rips in them. Just cut out the size patch you need, and put it on the inside of the pant. it's waterproof and flexable. I haven't tried to fix any elastic area rips, but it does a great job in the other areas. Hope this help to keep down the costs.
