I received a coupon from my local Walgreens store for a "Buy one, Get one Free" Depends Underwear(pull-up). I have not used these in the past except for a sample some years ago.
Has anyone used these recently? If I use the coupon, I'll be getting them half price. I usually only use a pull-up for short periods when I really don't need a "Brief" type diaper. Are these worth paying half price? Thanks! .........Paul Martin

I hate to say it but I don't think any Depend products are worth half of what they cost. Keep your cash man...

I wouldn't recomend them, I have had not had good results. I ended up ruining a nice pair of dress pants while trying these out.

You would be better off with a better quality product.

Money is very tight for me and I have ended up switching to cloth at home and Abena and Molicare when at work and out and about. :)

There's a lot to be said about staying with quality......it may cost a little more, but I think its worth the extra cost when you consider the alternative.

Well paul if your just going to use it for short stretches and you get it cheap I'd say go for it. But don't leave home!. I have some really cheap diapers that I sometime use at night after I take a shower and am going to have an hour or so before I get ready to go to bed and put my bed time diaper on...........Sandy :)

Yeah, that was my thought. I'm not in a pull up for very long before I'm in the pool at my YMCA. The pull up is always wet when I take it off before jumping in the pool, but never soaked. It's just a temporary diaper. ......Paul Martin

Paul,
I would wait till they go on sale and then use the coupon. I don't ever get pull ups, but I do get the refasten able ones when I have to have a spinal block. They don't hold anything but it's easier for them to fasten it up after being cathed. Depends it getting ready to put out a new gender pull up. One for females and one for males. They claim the padding is in different areas and the cut of the pull up for men are more like underwear. Problem is if they don't hold up what good will they be.

Well I hate to admit it but I bought a case of Depend Briefs last night on line  OK OK I know what your thinking No I'm not nuts no I'm not slipping. They were only a little over $30.00 with shipping included. So I said what the heck  Ya know if you add a booster they aren't all that bad. I still wouldn't leave home for long with them. I got them mainly for around the house or like Paul states for those times when you need short term protection ...................Sandy :)

Sandy,

You must have been desperate to make that purchase. I agree $30 for a case of Depends including shipping is a GREAT price, but when the price is so low that should tell you no one else wanted to buy them. If I were you, I would put a few of these in the van for emergencies and give at least half of them to your friend so you wont have that many to get rid of. The price is GREAT, but the quality is BAD.
