Hi Folks, I would like to ask you what you think about the modal material of incontinence pants? This style is designed for summer. It does feel more comfortable to the touch than cotton. The elasticity is much better than cotton. Do you guys mind if it's white when you choose the product? If most people mind this color, I would like to know the reason.. :?

I would like to be told what modal material is, how absorbent it is, compared to cotton, how environmentally friendly it is, what products are made of it, where they are made, and are the workers treated well.

Here's a good article about modal fabric. Bottom line, 50% more absorbent than cotton, but laundry is a hassle for diaper use.

Thank you for your link! It does have advantages in terms of washing, quick drying and texture.

The pad is cotton and the other material of the underwear is modal. This one https://bit.ly/3Rc3grn
The fabric can degrade naturally in the soil and is hygienic and environmentally friendly
I believe they have machines to help with the work.

Having read the accounts listed above, I doubt that this material will work for incontinents. It would deteriorate in hot water washes; Clorox added to wash water would degrade it, and periodic stripping would further degrade it. I can see it working well for garments not subjected to the rigors of usage by incontinents.

Short answer is no.
I see no functional advantage or compelling reason to change.
