Hi thank you. Yeh I was a lil embarrassed on a plane recently. I was going on a trip with a caregiver it was a long flight. I got soaked. It leaked all over my underpad. I needed a passenger to help me transfer to the floor. He was so nice. He picked me up by my underpad. And placed me on the floor where there iss a curtain so I can get a change. I think everyone heard the tapes being undone. After he even helped me bak into my seat. Another moment was my feeding. I require a bib.

Hi Jenna and welcome to the forum. I think you will like the group here. I'm bowel incontinent and have been bladder incontinent off and on.

It seems that you had a really rough plane trip.

Sorry Jenna,

I'm a little confused. One day prior to this post (on July 22, 2014) you spoke of planning a flight and asking questions how to handle your incontinence on long flight (future tense).

You said you had not flown since your accident. I took this to mean you were PLANNING your first flight as a person with disability.

Then, just a day later (on July 23, 2014 and quoted above), you speak of being "on a plane recently" (past tense), noisy tapes, etc.

Fast trip? Now, this might have been do-able a few years back via the CONCORDE...but a "long flight" out and back in one day seems a bit of a time warp and quite atypical, even in the year 2014!

Am I missing something here....anybody ??

John
