Morning Sex

My husband and I are in our mid-70s and are still sexually active. We've been married for 53 years. He has always liked morning sex. Prefers it, actually. Me? Not so much. I like the soft caress of the dark, as opposed to the glare of sunshine. He's a lifelong bedwetter, too, but his wet nights have always been infrequent and low in volume. I wet nearly every night with moderate volumes, usually twice during the night, and once in a while, three times. I generally wake up at some point after a wetting, but seemingly not in the course of or immediately after. Once in a while I don't wake up 'til morning. My pull-up is wet & heavy but not soaking, unless I wet a third time during the night. Then I usually leak onto the bed pad, and sometimes the bed gets wet, too. My point here is that when my husband wakes up amorous, he doesn't care if the pad/bed is wet, and he wants to take the wet pull-up off me, which I find embarrassing. I've taken to keeping a wastebasket on my side of the bed so that I can remove the wet pull-up and discard it, and then empty the basket into the trash later. The wet pull-up isn't as much a problem as an uncomfortable wet bed, but I'm more than happy to accommodate his desire for morning sex, especially since I can't accommodate him with oral sex anymore due to the health concerns associated with it. I had no issues with getting or giving oral sex prior to the correlation to mouth & throat cancers. So, has bedwetting adversely affected or helped with anyone's intimate relations?
