I had a betterdry on today when I had a bowel accident. It didn't do well which I'm surprised. What's people's goto diaper for fecal incontinence? Thanks.

JustJ, my go-to diaper for fecal incontinence is BetterDry. This is for three reasons - very high internal standing leak guards, an excellent fit to my personal shape, and good value for the price. BetterDry is more cost-effective than most of its competitors with similar performance. These other diapers include MegaMax and Northshore Supreme (as well as others). A good breathable diaper is Seni Quatro.

I also am bladder incontinent, so I need more absorbency than those who are only fecal incontinent would require. If you do not require high absorbency, there are other diapers available.

I should emphasize that absorbency does not matter if the diaper does not fit you well. A less expensive diaper that fits you will will outperform a premium diaper that does not.

Pay attention to how you tape the BetterDry (or any diaper). You can make big changes to how the leg gathers fit.

As to cost, I purchase diapers by the case and I do shop for sales.

Good luck JustJ.

As per JD's advice, I am using the NS Supreme Lite, since I don't need that much absorbency. I fortunately have my FI mostly under control through diet changes, so I have yet to have it tested under "battle conditions". If that never happens, I would be ok with that.

I laughed when I read Wayne's remark about testing his diaper under "battle conditions." As a veteran, I can relate to that term.
