Every time things get painful I tend to pass small chunks in my stool. The way I have described this to my doctors is like passing stuff the size of peas or just a bit bigger (The bigger the more pain seem to have)

The thing is that nothing I have eaten is that shape. I know I have diverticula throughout my whole bowel so my working theory is that it is because of that.

It is like someone popped them out of an mold.

The thing is that it is like that at least once a day or more and when it happens I am in a lot of pain.
I told my doctors about this and said it is like the medications I am on finally get it out but until that happens I am in enough pain to be sitting in the fetal position.

And no, I cannot take anything for pain.

I rub IcyHot or essential oils on my stomach all the time and it does help but only take the edge off.

I am so sick of being in pain and having the shakes from it and it seems.

I truly feel like my medications are not doing their job the way the use to.

Sorry if some of this is TMI but I don't know where else to turn for advice on this.

I feel for you. I too pass small stools, usually when I sneeze or cough; however, I have little of your continual abdominal pain. Could you combine a laxative with an analgesic powerful enough to give you relief? Good luck and keep us informed.
