Hi!

Been a while since I posted here. I am now married, and life is wonderful. I guess moving furniture, going on a honeymoon, and actually being able to have a sex life now that I'm married is good for the waistline, because I'm on the verge of dropping a diaper size. Yup, you read that right. My waist is already at the bottom for size range for large. I'm wondering what to do because all my diapers, both cloth and disposable, are large. Would a medium fit? Would the rise be tall enough? Should I order a medium case? Or wait until i slim down even more? The last time I tried on a medium disposable, I couldnt even get it on. But im at the point where I weigh right around 225, my pants dont even stay on for a few minutes withuot a belt, and the tapes are getting closer and closer t o the middle.

In other news, married life is wonderful. We have been married for more than a week. Which means our marriage has lasted longer than Brittney Spears's did to that one guy. Beautiful wedding, beautiful honeymoon. But, after the wedding right during pictures, Mr Bladder decided it would be a good time to let loose. Thankfully I was wearing a Northshore.. but I wanted to change because I wasnt about to sit through the reception in a wet diaper. Everyone was waiting for us. At one point I told the photographer.. I'm done taking pics.

Lastly, I have a cowoker at Meijer that has prostate issues. A few times I noticed that his pants were wet from what can only be urine, due to the position of the wet spot inside his leg. If I can see it, other people can. I would like to help him somehow, let him know there are protection options that are discreet and get the job done. But how do I broach the subject? Any thoughts? I would rather say something that have him suffer in silence with wet pants at work, but would he be more embarassed if I brought it up?

Peace out!

Rob

Congrats Rob! Now comes the real fun -- the rest of your married life. Seriously, being married has many benefits but does require give and take. It can also be extremely helpful when going to appointments where you need a driver.

As far as slimming down, congratulations again, though I can't offer any real advice for that.

For your coworker, you might try something less stigmatized like introducing him to men's guards. For many of us, we had to get to diapers (briefs) in steps.

Some advice:
For you: Do not think of what you want only of what your wife wants.
For your wife: Do not think of what you want only of what you husband wants.

I have been married for over 56 years and we are still in love!

So, I still have yet to acquire a disposable I trust at work. Strangely enough, I have lost so much weight that the discontinued Ecoable pocket diapers that I was trying to get rid of (which kind of fit but were not the most comfortable) actually work the best right now. The diaper cover 2.0 in size large with the fitteds is meeting in the middle, almost overlapping. Yeah. Getting too big. But the pocket diapers are pretty much fitting perfectly. I have 8 of them, and plenty of inserts. So, until I figure out a permanent working solution with disposables and cloth, this is a pretty good setup for now :) I also have 2 Dependeco pocket diapers. The Ecoable fittteds thankfully still fit decently, I just need a better cover.

Life is good. Thank God for cloth diapers. If I didn't have my cloth inventory and the knowledge I have acquired over the years, and I didn't end up hanging onto the pocket diapers, I'd be screwed right now. Just goes to show.. if you have something that doesnt quite fit but has some utililty in some way in your inventory for cloth, HANG ONTO it, because you never know when you will need it in a pinch.

Peace out!

Rob
