So, I am considering various cloth options for various scenarios. I just tested an Angel Fluff U3 custom made fitted flannel with an Ecoable diaper cover against my larger floods, and I get urine pooling. I think my deluges put most diapers to shame so its not as if the U3 is a bad diaper. My voids are just unusually large. For incontinence episodes that are NOT the over flow variety i think the max output is roughly 8 oz per wetting. I've estimated my morning deluges to be 16 oz. all at once. It takes a very absorbent diaper to be able to handle all of that without leaking. Is urine pooling for a cloth diaper the equivalent of leaking with a disposable? Right now I'm wearing a U3 with an Ecoable 2.0 pocket as a cover, with the thinking being that the absorbent built in panel would prevent said urine pooling.

Any of you cloth users deal with urine pooling in the PP/diaper cover? How do you fix it? Extra layers? More frequent changes?

Peace out!

Rob

Good question. I manage it by adding as many extra layers of cloth as needed to do the job. This may mean that you will need jeans/trousers/pants an extra size, but it works.
