There is nothing that is more deflating than that agony of defeat! My full sympathies.
I have trouble with diarrhea instead, but the end result is much the same.
I had gone out for an hour long walk. But on the way home, I felt a growing sense of urgency for the diarrhea. I stopped at my parked truck to get something, thinking I still had time. But standing still made it even more urgent. Before I knew it, a little spurt went into my pull-up. That in turn opened the flood gates, with the body pushing most of it out.
I still had a ways to walk back to the apartment building. Once I got there, I had to time entering so as to avoid sharing an elevator with someone. I mean I really stank (my bad).
I have since returned to taking the chlorophyl capsules because I don't want to face that again. I think the two ladies in the parking lot may have smelled me walking by, it was so bad.
I am currently experimenting with Whole Psyllium Husks to see if that reduces/eliminates the diarrhea. It looks promising. I started with low dosages initially, not wanting to become constipated. I am now using a level teaspoon in the morning with a full cup of water.
If I can't find a solution to this diarrhea I'll have to start wearing a serious diaper for containment in the day time. For the moment, I've been able to get by with a pull-up. But I know full well that the pull-up will not contain the diarrhea if I have to sit in it and drive home. That would be defeating since I still have fairly good urinary control, as long as I don't let my bladder get too full. Quitting coffee has helped immensely on that front.
