Well, I went, I got tubes put up there, and back there.. and fun times were had by all. Apparently praying to St Vitalis for his intercession (patron saint of bladder and genital disease/disorders) helped, because I actually was able to recreate an incotninence epsiode for the tech. She filled me up, I was standing.. and said hold it.. and then I started leaking.. she saw the small spurts, and then a bigger surge. Apparently my stream was so forceful that i ejected the catheter from my penis twice.. not sure how common that is.. She put it in and taped it.. and then the secon time she just held it in place.. a little awkward having a female RN hold the junk of an engaged man, but it is what it is. I mean, OTHER people would find it awkward, but in terms of the incontinennce, and my penis and anus examinations and probes what not, any sence of modesty or shame or akwardness went out the window years ago. She was kind enough to offer some grippy socks because mine got wet.

Peace out!

Rob

Well - that seems to have been then real specialists... I hope it has at least given usefull measurement results... Normally the catheter is always stuck to the penis with tape because otherwise it comes out again quickly. Since the measurement catheters are quite expensive, everyone is actually concerned that something like this does not happen because then you always have to take a new one because the old is no longer sterile...

Been there. Done that, several times. And yes, it is embarrassing, and intrusive. However, if it gave your urologist useful information, all that embarrassment will have been worth the hassle.
