Hi all,
I have settled on ConfiDry as my all around extended wear diaper. Even when im in an at home situation like at my brothers house, when i feel like not prepping a pocket diaper, I slap one on. Economic cost, case size, absorbency, waistband back and front, comfort, and extra wide tabs all helped me make this decision. Used correctly and sparingly in the right circumstances a case of 72 can last at least 1 month if not 2 or 3. I bought a case before the new year and am just now on the second bag. I average at most 2 per day if that. Ive been using cloth and dissposables both. By the way, my cloth inventory is now complete. The only recurring cost will be detergent and the occasional 113 for a case of 72 which may last 3 months, depending on circumstances. Definitely doable especially with my noew job. So, I think im settled at last on a working solution. It has taken years of meticulous testing to get here. At last, i found it.. the holy grail of incontinence management.

Peace out!

Rob

Rob,

It seems that your testing is paying off for you. ConfiDry 24/7 and cloth at night are an excellent selection and are what I use. For even more time between changes you can add a small booster pad to the Dry 24/7 for excellent performance at an economical price.

I second that.

Confidry is all I use right now (which is much easier and takes up less space than stocking multiple brands). I go through a little more than one case every month, and about one bag of baby diaper boosters every month too.

I have a love hate relationship with them. sometimes I'm amazed at how much they hold and other times I'm shocked that they've leaked. I feel like there's actually too much material around the leg gathers and sometimes some of that plastic end up gapping or even folding into the interior of the diaper making a path for urine to flow out. I wear them to bed sometimes still but the last order I placed with XP was for Abena L4s only.

MikeJames, this helps with any brand; after you've put the diaper on, run your finger under the leg bands. This will pull it flat and smooth up against your skin. That in turn makes sure the diaper isn't bunched up in a way that will leak prematurely.
