Well, woke up this morning to go to the bathroom, and when I finished,I felt a distinct and very unpleasant burning sensation down there which remained down there after i finisned peeing.. and it stayed there even when i cathed. After I cathed and even compltley emptied my bladdder, it still felt like there was more in there. I would see someone at the community care clinic this morning, if i wasn't working. I plan to hydrate really well, pad up for big output and cleanse my sytem through peeing a lot. Cranberry juice may also be in my future..

Sorry you have picked up a UTI. When I used intermittent catheterization I got them all the time. Be very careful because you my have a larger issue in retention, that could get it to your kidneys and you don't want that. Don't play around with UTIs when you have to use catheters it can land you in the hospital.

Cranberry NEEDS to be in your immediate future. So does a trip to a clinic or hospital. This is not something to take a wait and see approach with. Hope you feel better soon.

I take cranberry tablets and find they helps me. I definitely notice more soreness if I don't take them. I have lots of bacteria in my bladder due to catheter which causes some uti symptoms all the time althoufh I don't get a fever so don't take antibiotics.

Relax, Brian, I got it taken care of.. i just coudlnt until later yesterday because i was working.. saw the urologist. She took a urine sample.
Good news is that whatever was bleeding has since stopped.. my urine is yellow again
