so im prone to cysts and acne breakouts all over my body.
ill be going to an infectioous disease doctor soon (i also have mrsa) but in thee meantime i need to do something about these breakouts.
im visiting my parents in colorado and of course i had a cyst/acne breakout in my leg/crotch area.
one of them broke open and bled all over my pull pants (think they are ruined).
i broke out rightt at the crease of my pul pants. i guess i can go without them and hope i dont leak but i really need to figure out what to do. my mom suggested talcum powder. would that work?
im airing out at the moment and have been this evening (and reducing my liquid intake to avoid accidents. so far so good).
im super sore though....anyone have these problems?

First, why are your pul pants ruined now? If you stain them with blood, then just wash them. They may still be discolored, but they will still work just as good as before.

Second, for bleeding or open sores, talcum powder does help to keep them dry for a little while. You do have to use a generous amount though and it only lasts for a few hours at best. Your best bet it to keep it clean and aired out as much as possible. Use a medicated cream or steroid to help it heal too. Just make sure it's something that will fully absorb into the wound and not create a barrier which will otherwise keep it moist and bleeding.
