Hey my friends, I know that originally I said that I wouldnt go with cloth exclusively, just to offset the cost of disposables. Well, that was before I got fed up with the cheap quality diapers Medicaid sends me, and before i found a replacement for the attends.. a less expensive mid-range absorbency pocket diaper roughly comporable to tena ultra...maybe sligtly less absorbent..but then again, i was using 3 bamboo inserts.. if i use 4 i probably would get more wettings out of it. https://www.etsy.com/shop/MonkaDunkCreations This person sells embroidered baby and adult cloth pocket diapers. She doesnt make them hereself, but buys them from a generic supplier and embroiders them. I already have 1 of her diapers, and it is AWESOME. It fits well, has leg gussets that seal real well against my legs, and the inserts are so soft and comfortable. The absorbency is decent, but not as high as my other pocket diapers, but that is ok. I was just looking for a reprieve from those cheap attends.. and i found it. The absorbecny is enough to operate on a change when wet basis or after 2 wetting basis.. and i can rely on my a and a pocket diapers for extended wear. I did leak after sittig down after two floods.. but lets face it.. compression leaks can happen with ANY diaper, cloth or disposable. The best part is even after two decent sized wettings the diaper still felt completely dry to the touch!!!! We are talking a cloth diaper here..acting like a disposable! And it is so soft and comfortable, that it feels like im wearing a pillow between my legs. I cant wait to order more of them when finances permit. So there you have it..I have decided to use cloth diapers as much as I can. Yes, i probably will need disposables for traveling and summer camp job.. but i think im convinced to go cloth. Peace out! Congratulations and kudos for having found a workable solution. I'll need to replace at least the worst of my inventory by next January; I'll look into this. |

Keep in mind patrick that you may not get as much absorbency out of this pocket diaper than you do your pin ons, for that youd have to go with the A and A pocket diapers.. which unfortunately are not available at the moment. I remember reading you have had a sphincterectomy, so your probably leaking constantly so youd need heavy absorption. Just thought id give you a heads up. |
