Hey all,

I just thought id give everyone a heads up just in case you wanted to try out the pocket diapers I found on the wearing adult diapers website. One thing that you need to know is that a pocket diaper fits different and is put on differently than a disposable. Sure, the tabs remind you of a disposable, but they don't fit as tightly. I learned this the hard way as when i was putting it on I was weraing it as tight as I could get, and putting considerable stress on the button tab seams on the wings. With disposables you try to pull the wing taught and attatch the tapes, but with the pocket diaper the fit will be looser, but it will still be snug. I ended up having to send it to the maker to be fixed, and I also popped a sticch seam or two. I found a video about pocket diaeprs for infants that said that it fits best by putting hte back of the diaper just above the buttocks, rather than higher up in the back like you would a disposable. I found this to be true. They actually fit a lot like the the tena ultra. ONce i compared the application of tena ultra and the pocket diaper, it became clear. You want the diaper down low enoguh in the back to come up to the belly button so you can smooth out hte front panel. Now, when you bring the wings up, instead of stretching it straigjt over the diaper like you would a disposable, you actually pull up, in the direction of your upper section and then over, rather than pulling straight across. This is because that there is less resinstance on the elastic at an angle than there is straight over. I had to google putting on a pocket diaper in order to find this out.. Yeah, there is a decent learning curve with clot diapers, even cloth diapers that appear on the surface to be idiot proof.. LOL.

Peace out!

Rob
