Ok, here's the situation. While i was working at the special needs camp, I had my monthly supply of diapers wipes etc provided to me by Medicaid through J and B medical to the camp. When I came home, one of the first things that I did was call J and B medical and told them to remove the camp's address. They even TOLD ME ON THE PHONE that the next shipment should come around the 17th. I'm waiting and waiting, and guess what? I check my patient portal for the status, and it said pending. I called them and they said Fed Ex should come tomorrow, which was two days ago. So, when i got home on Tuesday, I asked my mom (I live at home with my parents in an upstairs apartment they are providing) did Fed Ex come? She said no. I went online to my portal and it said shipped. I looked at the tracking number.. it said delivered.. to the wrong address!! Why they STILL shipped it to the address at camp I don't have a clue. Don't worry, i have plenty of other diapers to get me through until until this can be resolved. I still have 2 bags of Tena Ultra, 3 bags of Northshore, a bag of the old style attends breathable extra absorbent (last minute snag!!! it was the last one left! all the rest of the bags were the Derma Dry! I feel bad for the incontinent people shopping at my local pharmacy..but that's a topic for another post..)

Im not mad, im just glad i had the foresight to get other diapers.. If I had'nt, id only have 2 bags of attends , which i'm not ready to trust outside the house yet.

Has something like this happened to anyone else?

Rob,

Unless I missed it, you never said if J&B has is right now. Are they going to ship to your current address, or do you know. Suggestion,.....in the future you might want to get an email conformation from J&B, or anyone else for that matter that verbally says they have made the correct. If you have an email conformation from them saying they have made the address change there will never be any doubt who made the error. What plans do you have if they say they have no record of you calling to make the address change?

Always get a written conformation. :wink:

How far away is the camp? Can you call anyone at the camp to arrange a pick up? Just a thought.

I hope everything works out well for you. Keep us posted. :)

Nope, John, they shipped my supply to Big Bay, MI, where the camp is located. Its just frustrating..but, ill be ok.. ill get this figured out.
I have enough to last me for a while.

I agree, make them put it in writing!!!! That said, I hope you get things figured out sooner rather than later!!

Hey all,
Thought id tell you all what happened. First, let me say that this was actually my fault, not J and B medical's. So, with that, they are a good company to deal with if you happen to be incontinent, on Medicaid, and live in Michigan. What happend was when I called to change my address.. I called diaperbuys, which is the retail side of J and B medical. I had thought that if i change my address with one, it changes with the other. Nope. So, really, it was a matter of me calling the wrong company to get the address changed. So, this is a big misunderstanding.
