I need a high quality mattress cover with side protection, for leaks which are happening too often recently while sitting on side of the bed. I know the first step is finding the right diaper and waterproof pants, but that is another story.
The good mattress covers I have have seen only have waterproof backing on top. The only ones I found with water proof sides are basically cheap plastic sheets which are inadequate.
Does anyone have recommendation?

Vandel, you can put a washable pad either above or below the sheets to supplement the normal mattress cover. Also you can put disposable plastic-backed absorbent pads below the sheet.

I think this is the one we bought and we bought the one we have from here, ours protects the top and sides of the mistress. I also use a absorbant pad that I sleep on above the sheets as an extra layer of protection

It's nice to know the mistress is protected and the added protection of the removable washable pad zit I leak I grab the pad and change then put a spare pad back on my side of the bed and get back to sleep. my wife doesn't have to wake up or getup for me to deal with my leak
