Hey all,

As you know.. sometimes at work I don't make attempts to use the toilet.. reason being.. often times I'm wearing an extended wear breif that is at times difficult to take off and urinate in the toilet..and i worry about ripping it when I bring it back up. What i'm wondering is, by just letting myself "go" in the brief, perhaps it's not a full bladder? How would i know if i'm actually retaining urine to the point of it being dangerous? I will talk to my doctor about this.. I don't usually make a habit of just peeing in the diaper intentionally.. usually by hte time i let myself go..tehres alreasy been a dible or spurt..

peace out!

Rob

If you bladder isn't emptying properly, if there is retained urine, there's a simple ultrasound test the urologist can do that shows how much is being retained. More than 100ml is a time to start doing something. normally, especially at your age, voiding anyway is likely to empty the whole bladder. It's worth mentioning, though, as retained urine can cause infections in the bladder and you don't want those!
