Sandy,
That was a good ideal! I never really have flooded my diaper. Mine leaks mainly if I've gone too long changing. My wife gets on me some times for waiting too long to change. It's mainly, though, when we're away from home. I guess it's like that for everybody.
But that really is a life saver ideal to hide your big leak with some spilled drink. ...................Paul

Well we had another girls day out. did some shopping my young friend again showing me what outfits I should be wearing  Wasn't it just a few months ago I was telling/showing her how to dress  She wants me to look like an office executive. I keep telling her I'm just a country girl,Jeans overalls flannels and over sized T-shirts are what I feel best in. This is not to say I don't have skirts blouses dresses etc.

Just let me have my hair down jeans and flannel(this time of year) and I'm good to go. But really I do have fun with her she is so much younger then me but age really doesn't seem to matter. I see and talk to her far more often now then I see her mother.

While I'm here I also had to stand watch at the gas station again. Off she went again bag and all. She came back and thanked me and said boy I was thankful when you showed up I really had to "chan" then correcting herself she said go. She almost said change. I thought about saying something but I didn't go there. I did say yep dry pants are always better then wet (not sure if she caught that) In away I really want to talk to her and tell her to get rid of those jeans she wears. ( here I go Sandy the fashion police  ) There fine when she's dry but it so obvious when she needs to change. They all do the same thing that she wears. Where the leg part meets the crotch and part ways up the front it bulges there about up to where the hair line would end on most women. (Sorry if that's a little graphic) And the jean actually tucks around the side of the protection. So it really enhances the bulge. She is rather short if she was taller it would really stand out..............................Sandy

Sandy,
You're first young friend sounds like she's doing so well. Keep up the good work.
This new lady that you spoke about at the gas station is about to open up to you pretty soon, sounds like it. This is my suggestion. If you find yourself in a similar situation with her, you might bring up the fact that you're incontinent and wear a diaper. You are taking a chance of letting your cat out of the bag first, but if she is also wearing a diaper for her incontinence, she might let her cat out of the bagy too and admit she's incontinent. If she doesn't, you've confided in her a very personal matter about youself. That might imbarrass you, but the way I think I know you, it probably wouldn't. It's a chance to take, but I think I would do it if I were in your shoes. ...........................Paul(Martin)

Sandy,
I'm not suggesting to just come out and say "I'm wearing a diaper".
What I'm suggesting is if she opens up to you in a way she's suggesting to you she has an incontinent problem, you could drop a hint of your incontinence. It's a very dellicant situation. Just watch for the right moment. You were practically there on your last conversation to her. I know you'll wait for the right time. Good Luck! .....Paul(Martin)

I was out at the gas station last night Needed some ice cream :) she was working we began talking. She went to the restroom bag and all. came back. said something about that's better. I said yes dry pants are better. She grind  looking some what embarrassed and said you know don't you :?: I played dumb she said that I wear protection. I said yes.

Then she said to me I'm under the impression that we both share the same problem. I said what do you mean (playing along) She said well about two weeks ago you were bending over getting a Newspaper. I noticed an out line that was to big for just a pair of underwear

She did tell me that I really dress well and that she didn't have a clue up until that point. She then went on to ask me what my condition was and so on. I told her my history in short then asked about hers.

She said that she has been a life long bed wetter and started having daytime accidents when she was around 20 and pregnant with her first child. The accidents continued after the birth so she said she used poise pads then. She has since had two more children and is now 26 and her incontinence got worse with each child . She said she went through a Battery of test with her doctor and several different drugs and said the side effects were far worse then the problem (boy does that sound familiar) She said the doctor had stated that this is not uncommon for a person with a life log bed wetting condition to have a few children and developed a daytime condition. She said she suffers most from stress incontinence put also at times a little urge and overflow as well. She uses lots of depend underwear with a depend booster also she wears briefs from assurance, Depends, and walgreens. She said she prefers the pull-ups during the day but that they are such a pain to change as far as putting on a new one at work or when shes out that she usually changes into a brief. Because you can just tape that on rather then get 1/2 undressed to put a pull up on.

Well we talked for around two hours between customers she asked again about my condition and story. I didn't get to much into me yet. She also stated I was the first person that she has ever meet that was incontinent that she knows of.

Well anyway there's more to the story but my husband wants to go to town so I must go. BTW I never did get my Ice Cream :?

More Latter.............Sandy

Well I'm back it's after midnight but I can't sleep.

She asked me what gave her away to me. Well I really didn't want to say the first thing was the bulge in her crotch and part way up the front  So I told her that she had laid her bag down on the counter open and I saw the three briefs in it. She said oops that was a careless thing to do.

I really had a good talk with her. I told her about my young friend (looks like I have two now) I was telling her about how I helped her with her ways of dressing. She said yes that dressing is a hard one but you seem to have it rather down pat. Then she started talking about how she likes her jeans that she wears  How it holds her protection in place :? I said don't you think you have that a little backwards :?: I said your pants should cover it up and hide it. She said well don't they  Wouldn't it be better to wear something like a pair of tight fitting panties over your protection to help hold it in place. rather then your jeans

That's when I told her about how I first noticed that she may have a problem. I told her how she would go to the restroom with a bulge and come back without one. She said she had no idea that it showed like that. I could see she was starting to get a little stressed. I tried to tell her that maybe I noticed it because I have the same condition.

Tonight we stopped in she was working again and her shirt wasn't tucked in it was hanging down covering part of that area

While we were there tonight I mentioned that I had talked to my young friend about going out some afternoon next week. She asked what we would do. I told her we often end up going cloths shopping. She said she wasn't into that. I said well in away I'm not either but I find it a little funner when your with a friend. I said we almost always find a place to eat maybe even take a movie in if there is something worth watching and so on. She said she would think about it. In away I think she is a little more like me being she doesnt appear to be a city girl and shes a little more layed back.

I told her if she would like to stop in at the house during the day and visit me she could. She said yes that would be nice but I would have to bring my kids I said so what bring them. That seem to open her eyes a little she said you wouldn't mind :?: I said no why should I it sometimes gets lonely by myself.

BTW I did get my Ice Cream tonight :D
...........All for now...............Sandy

Sandy,
I knew it was just a matter of time before you would find a way to get this new friend to talk. Sounds like you did an excellent job handling it. Like you said in your post, now you have two friends!
I'm sure you both have several stories to exchange and some helpful hints in managing incontinence. Way to go, Sandy! .........Paul

Hey Sandy,
I just started a new topic about people knowing if you wear a diaper or not. You confirmed my note that incontinent people know what to look for. You both found out each others secret by knowing the motions of an incontinent person. I hope you keep us up to date how this new friend gets to know you better. Like this new friend, I do not know anybody personally who is incontinent. I probably am around some I'm not aware of. Anyways, keep up the good work! ...........Paul(Martin)
