I recently bought a bag of 15 BetterDry diapers to see how they compare to the Dry 24/7 diapers that I've been wearing for the past several months. I found that the capacity of the BetterDry diapers is very similar to that of the Dry 24/7's, but the size medium is substantially smaller (but still OK for me) in the BetterDry's. However, the BetterDry's cost about 50 cents per diaper more than the Dry 24/7. They're great diapers but not worth the extra cost.

they're not more expensive if you buy by the case. $99 for 60 = 1.65 ea. That includes shipping.

The Dry24/7 at XP Medical are $118 for 72 = 1.64 per diaper.

I want Dry24/7 to work for me so badly, but for some reason they leak like a sieve for me.

The BetterDry diapers are an impressive diaper, are slightly more absorbent than the Dry 24/7, and have fantastically high internal standing leak guards. The recently modified BetterDry diapers have the tallest internal standing leak guards I ever have seen. That should be good but I found significant quality control problems.

When I was active, the top strand of the standing leak guards would break, thus causing urine and feces to flow over the leg gathers. :( Also, the side material of the leak guards sometimes would tear. This occurred in three out of four diapers. When the standing leak guards remained intact, they worked very well. I am 74 years old and any diaper should be adequate for my level of activity. A younger person would be more active and presumably put more strain on the diaper. However, if you are inactive this diaper should work well for you.
