Hey Sandy,
You've been using some cloth diapers now, for what 2 or 3 months? What's your opinion using them now? Would you suggest other disposable only users to give them a try? .............Paul Martin

My opinion on cloth :?: Well it's kind of a love hate thing. I love the absorbency and how the wetness wicks it's way through the whole diaper. I don't tend to get rub rashes on the insides of my legs. I can wear my sexy Lacey plastic pants and drive my husband nuts :P  What I hate Number one would be the WASHING! I'd much rather just take the old Diaper throw it in the trash and forget about it. One other draw back is I tend to feel more wet in cloth then I do in disposables. Also some times the bulk of cloth can be a little challenging. But I tend to wear overalls most of the time when I wear cloth so the bulk is easier to hid. I've had a five layer cloth diaper on with three boosters (cloth baby diapers) in it as well with overalls My husband said he couldn't tell :?: Other then I was waddling a little :? I'd say I wear the cloth about 60% of the time over the throw aways. Other then when that time of the month comes. Then it's full time disposables. .......................Sandy

Sandy,
Thanks for the update. You're right about the washing. I've been doing this for many years now, I really don't think much of it anymore. And you're right about feeling wet. I do mostly wear cloth at night, so it doesn't really matter. But those disposables are really handy as far as convienence. ......Paul Martin

Howdy
A little update Jane and her husband went out with us the other night. We went out to dinner and went and saw a show. Jane and her husband seem to be getting along fairly well. Dinner was enjoyable. But I did notice Janes husband seems to enjoy beer a little :?: Don't get me wrong he wasn't necessarily drunk . But he seem to loosen up a little :?

Everything went fairly well until the show he got up once or twice to use the restroom but when Jane asked me If I need to go. You know us women we always have to go in pairs  Janes husband made a mean comment. And well that was his down fall he was sitting in front of me. So without really thinking about it I hit him on the back of his head! He turned around looked at my husband as if he was the one that did it. My husband pointed at me. He turned around and never said a thing. In fact he really didn't say much the rest of the night! I was kind of surprised I did that myself  But I hate to say it but it felt good. Jane and I got to the rest room and Jane was laughing. She said she could tell he didn't know what to do  Jane said I hit him hard enough that she was sure that his bell got rung. My Husband told me later on when we got home that he couldn't believe that I did that. But at the same time was happy I did...........................Sandy

Well it's been a while now since I've seen Janes Husband. Jane said having a women clock him like that really put a dent in his Ego. Jane and the kids have been over a few times. in fact I watched the kids the other day while Jane was shopping.

Big news my young friend is now tyring Cloth I had got her some off EBay. I was over there the other day she was wearing one around the house. She said she likes them at night the best  She hasn't got up enough nerve to wear them outside of the home or should I say in public yet. I'm going to get her some of the rumba pants but I haven't told her that. I thought maybe she would feel a little more sexy with them. Not that she has anyone to be sexy for. But I thought it might be fun for her :) Like me she doesn't like the washing end of it. and she says she tend to feel the wetness more then with the disposable. But she says she rarely has a leak at night. So all in all she sounds like she is having the typical experience as the rest of us do with cloth.

Now if I could just get Jane to try it. She just won't go there even for night time use. But I'll keep working at it with her. If I could get Jane in cloth and with myself and my young friend I'm thinking if I ordered from one of the suppliers maybe I could get a decent price break. But then I don't need alot more myself.

.................................. :) Sandy :)

Sandy,
That's good news. I believe the peace of mind of a dry bed and the comfort makes up for the washing. I've been washing diapers for over 4 years now, and I'm just use to it.
Jane would probably get a lot of grief from her husband if she switched to cloth. She needs to do what she wants to do, though.
You've come a long way since you joined this forum. Now we need to guide LtsofQues to her trying cloth diapers. Thanks Sandy! ..........Paul Martin

Don't mean to sound nosy but I really feel sorry for your friend Jane. Her husband should be the one to support her if anyone does. It's enough that she has to put up with as it is. What people like him should be realizing is that they too could one day have the same problem and be glad that its someone else instead of them, it could really happen to anyone. This helps alot with my dating questions. If I had a husband like him he might be sleeping on the couch. Just tell Jane to let him take a peak at my post.

You're right LtsofQues. Jane's husband may be turning around after Sandy bobt'd him on the head. Jane has to be tough to put up with him. It's good that Sandy is there to give her support!............Paul Martin

Maybe there should be a thread or group for the spouses and significant others. It may help them be more understanding.
