Hey Rob good to hear from you! Sorry you’re dealing with kidney stones. Ouch! What did the urologist say?
I was wondering how you were getting along with the cloth diapers. Laundry was a big factor for me.
Hope you’re doing well otherwise
Hey Elijah!
I'm still doing well. I was told I can't use the portable washing machine I bought in my apartment, so that was an adjustment. So, I've become very adept at washing some cloth diapers in the bathtub with a plunger. I think I'll do that for the prewash and do the main wash downstairs. Good news is I have a portable dryer that no one has objected to as of yet.
I just transitioned back into using cloth diapers after a summer of disposables. It would be absolutely miserable wearing a heavy cloth diaper in the summer heat. So, I made do with MegaMax Air lock, and did payment plans for some of the cases. I just bought a case of Better Dry, because its not as expensive as Northshore care. But hopefully this is the last case I buy for a while. I REALLY like Angel Fluff's rectangular flannel prefolds. They are very comfortable to wear and very absorbent. Much more comfortable than wearing a disposable. Velcro makes putting it on a snap, and it is the only reason why I am trying traditonal cloth diapering vs snap on fitteds or pockets. But they are bulky. Also take a while to dry. But, man the comfort is SO WORTH IT. Ecoable still has a use, if I need a more discreet solution. But man, Angel Fluff has earned a soft spot in my heart.
