Discovered that my inserts are actually interchangable

Hey all,

For those of you considering pocket diapers, here is something that I think you will find useful. The Monka Dunk shop diaper i thought could only use the inserts that came with it, because i htought the and a (which are more absorbent) wouldn'nt fit in the monka dunk diaper, only the A and A pocket diaper. Well, I tried it again, and it went it just fine, and is a little buched up, but once i manually rearanged it, it was in just fine. It looks like I will be able to get a stash of cheaper pocket diapers and use them for both extended wear and change when wet..just change out the inserts for different wear types. This will go a LONG way toward making it easier to go cloth cost wise.

Peace out!

Rob

Yep. You can also make more from old towels and microfiber cloths, of your handy with a sewing machine.

Well, I may have been wrong about this maybe? I deceided to test the Monka Dunk Diaper with the insets from my a and A diaper. I got up to use the batroom as usual started flowing.. i could have stopped and used the toilet, but then i figured, why not test it and see if this will hold, just in case you do have a deluge you cant stop. well, the diaper held well, without apparent leaks.. al thoug later checking it seems my bathroom floor was wet on the right side. I went back to bed, and later on discovered the right side of the diaper was wet along with my bedsheets and shirt.. most likely from a compression leak, not from me wetting laying down (which almost never happens). So i am not sure whether the diaper leaked out the right side when i was in front of the toilet, or i laid down compressing the diaper and causing it to seep out hte side. Either way, I'm willing to give this diaper another chance. After all any diaper can have leaks when you flood it..and really, when i have a deluge, i ususally change out of the diaper anyway. I mainly need it to contain the flood if i dont make it to the toilet. ANd any diaper can have compression leaks. Not to mention i was pointed up, so that could have been a factor. That could be the one slight disadvathage to the pocket diaper.. the lack of all around padding in the front.. It has not been a major probem, as most of the time im pointed down and aboe to stay down. Sorry for the TMI..but for us guys its reality.

Peace out!

Rob
