Hey all,
Does anyone else have probelms with COnfi dry cutting into their leg? I tried not to put the diaper on too tight. Could it be i need to up to size large? I dont know if it matters since im not sure im going to use ConfiDry longterm..ive been happy with abena.. just trying to find a more cost effective solution.
Peace out!

I do know this happens with most any diaper that is one size too small for a persons body. The curved way they are cut around the legs is too small of a diameter for the diameter of your legs. No matter how loose you tape them, that diameter will always be too small and produce this problem because you're stretching that plastic curvature- not the tapes.
No offence, but Confidry is cut really generously too, so if they are cutting into your legs then you should consider trying out the next size up. Alternatively, take a look at Bambino bianco (they are all white and have the same performance as their belisimo) or any other similarly shaped diaper. The cut and tape positioning on diapers like theirs use a "no-lower-tape" design which works perfectly to prevent them cutting into your legs- when they are also worn as one size too small that is.

As much as i hate to admit it Brian, your'e probably right. I am at a 42 inch waist and weigh 220.. up until now ive always worn a size medium, but i think might have to up to a size large. Stair master and walking are definetly in my future
Peace out!

Rob,
I'm with Brian on this. You are wearing a size too small. Like you, I have a 42 inch waist but wear ConfiDry 24/7 in size Large.
Good luck with the Stairmaster and walking programs!

My measurements are about the same. I've been wearing confidry larges for a couple of years and they work great for me.
Edit, stairmaster and walking??? Not with my wrecked knees and bad leg!

I'm also a 42" waist (though a fair bit heavier), and when I tried confidry I wore a large.
Honestly though, confidry just fit me weird, and leaked horribly. I was very disappointed by that product.

I've added these into the rotation and like them so far. They're pretty bulky and they're the loudest diaper I've tried so far but I've not had any problems yet with them cutting into my skin. I'd guess that it's because the plastic is so thick on these though.
OP, have you tried Seni Quattro? I don't really like cloth backed diapers in general but I make an exception for these. The cloth actually feels real, and they're super soft. Very comfortable as far a diaper goes and they're crazy absorbent and fast wicking.

Also check that you smooth out the diaper around the leg so it isn't bunching. That can cause what you describe as well.
