Jand B medical.. the never ending diaper saga

Wed Aug 03, 2016 6:53 pm

Well,
So here i was told that getting products that were off formula (that is, other than the ones Medicaid covers) was an option. Today I find out um no it isnt. They are sending me samples again of differnt briefs that are more absorbent than the oens im using.. Yeah, its not like i havent tried them.. they are cheap.. doesnt matter how absrobent it is, if i cant get it on to use the diaper.. absorbency is a moot point isnt it? So we shall see if a diaper they send me a sample of is more useable than attends 8..im not holding my breath to be perfectly honest

Peace out!

Rob

rob - i dont know where you live but i live in dc and my medicaid covers tranquility ATN. not the best diaper, but with a booster and pul pants they do their job.
definately not premium but better than the crap medicaid usually sends. i had to have my doc write a script for them and submit a form to the medical supply company and they filled it.

Wow, what a wonderful world it would be if I could get ATN!

I live in MI. Recently it seems that the attends have been more reliable than before.

I would love it if Medicaid covered Tena Ultra.. I used those before courtesy of medicaid and they were awesome.. Oh well..

I found a new source for pocket diapers that is less expensive than the one i was ordering from before.. but thats probably because they aren't made from scratch. If i like the diaper I receive and it fits and holds well.. i will post a link to the Etsy site. Until then, stay tuned.

Peace out!

well i had to really fight to get ATN.
it was definitely worth it. my supplier screwed up and now i have like 4 cases.
i live in a studio apartment and have so many i dont know where to put them!
i suppose this is definitely better than the alternative.
i still use premium sometimes but for the most part i use the ATN's and now i have quality pul pants

try to fight if you can. it may not be worth it for you, though. but it was for me.
your insurance may cover ATN because they are on the cheap side price wise.
